Despite having a strong multiplayer component complete with <a href=\"http:\/\/steamcommunity.com\/games\/258970\/announcements\/detail\/205255934349380294\">seasonal events<\/a>, the revamp of the classic arcade game just didn&#8217;t attract enough of an audience to build critical mass. Arrowhead will try to change that with a free update bringing improvements to include a new game mode. In a frank <a href=\"http:\/\/arrowheadgamestudios.com\/gauntlet-its-alive\/\">blog post<\/a>, Arrowhead admitted that the game did not live up to their goals.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In truth, we were never fully satisfied with how Gauntlet turned out.
