Mark's Pick: No One Lives Forever
I was still reeling from Blood 2 when No One Lives Forever came
out. Monolith making a game of the year candidate? Who could know?
Thats my excuse and Im sticking to it, but I will play
this game soon.
Tom's Pick: Too many to list
There are so many A-list games I didn't get around to playing
and I feel horrible about it. How can you take me seriously if I
haven't played No One Lives Forever because I was busy diddling
around with Perfect Dark on the N64? I never even tried Baldur's
Gate II or Icewind Dale because I was playing Wizards & Warriors.
I didn't try The Longest Journey and Escape from Monkey Island,
I played Dracula: Resurrection and Traitor's Gate -- where are my
priorities? What kind of guy calls himself a wargamer who still
doesn't have a copy of Combat Mission, much less who hasn't even
gotten around to downloading the demo? Thief II? Haven't touched
it. And I didn't try a single sports game last year since I was
worried I would install it and then wouldn't get picked to be on
anyone's team. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea culpa. So many games, so
little time...
