In a move that doesn't really surprise anyone, Sid Meiers has killed his Dinosaurs
game. Never mind that odds are Sid never did much work on it because game development stopped when Robin errrr I mean Brian Reynolds left Firaxis and took a bunch of people.

So much for the Sweep of Time triology.
I wonder what his new concept is? I can guess at least half the title: "Sid Meier's _____ " :)
I was never that thrilled with the idea of a game centered around dinos anyway, but maybe that was because I was a bit disappointed when I heard. I expected the third game in the Sweep of Time triology to be a game of galactic conquest -- Sid's take on Master of Orion -- and instead he wanted us to play with dinosaurs.

Oh, I don't know, maybe something like AoE, but with the "Triassic Age" instead of the "Tool Age?"

Lets just hope Sid and American McGee never go to work for Microsoft. You'd have to have a decoder ring to figure out the name of the game. "Sid Meier's & American McGee's MS Milky Way/ME SR 2 v3.1 "
