ATI has occasionally flirted with the concept of not sucking, but they've never managed to get their heads around it.
Hell, many of the issues with the old Rage 128 reared their ugly heads with the Radeons. Speaking of the Radeon. That broken anisotropic filtering "feature" is in the newer Radeon, too. It's a long story, but allow me to summarize: still sucks.

On a side note about Smart. Isn't BC Millenium supposed to be out? Last months CGW had a review of it I believe, but I still don't see it on the shelves.

I don't think he had a traditional or at least large publisher backing the project so you will probably have to order it online if your interested.
