hey, i just saw that cdmag has a new website and all, and thats great stuff (the old one sucked --sorry) but WHERE DID ALL THE OLD REVIEWS ALL GO??? i hate to see them be gone forever, that would suck even more than the old site did. nothing lasts long in this hobby, heck i cant even fiond pictures of games from 20 years ago but i can go to the museam and see books from 2000 years ago. if all the sites are gonna die then all those old reviews die too (just like at gamecenter and dailyradar but gayradar SUCKED!!), anyway to the cdmag people (i think there are some) who hang out here, please bring the old reviews back. i dont like the gamespot that much but at least you can find all their old reviews and read about the games even though you dont play em anymore -gamesdomain has old ones too from way back. ITS OUR HISTORY MAN!!

no way --if you don't believe me try to find the half-life review cuz it AINT THERE!!! they got some old stuff yeah if you call last year old. when they bought that one site --i think it was called ogre-- you could read it for awhile and then BAM nothing. i guess here they are shooting themsleves heh!

It is a bit confusing since the old site (www.cdmag.com) constantly refers you to the new site (www.cgonline.com), but all the stuff is still buried under there.

Yeah, the old site contains all the content. I've had to use that for links to articles that I wrote for them previously. Somewhere it tells you that they only reformatted the three months before the new site opened.

I'd love to be able to help you, but I don't know exactly what the plan is regarding coversion of old article to the new format. I know some have been converted, and I think there's a list of some others that will be, but I'm not sure. Bob? Steve?
Regardless, as the Daves pointed out, that's why the old site is still there instead of a straight redirect to cgonline.com

All older reviews are being converted by our interns this summer. Old previews probably won't be converted. Tips are lower priority.
Eventually all of the articles will reside on cgonline.com, but some will be in the old layouts (hopefully sans evil frames).
