OK - I just replaced my Voodoo 5500 with a Geforce 3 Ti500 (I'll add a Voodoo2 pass through card so I can keep playing Red Baron2 3D) What I need now is some tips on what to do wrt all of the various settings for the card. I'm not interested in overclocking the card, just getting the best performace and graphics quality.

Any GF3 pros out there?

Er, do you need to do anything? I popped mine in, got the latest ref drivers, and presto! NHL 2002 at 100 FPS. ;-) I'm sure that there are a few things I could play with, but other than overclocking, it'd all be overkill. I mean, 1600x1200 in Wolfenstein is enough for me.

Hey Brett, what CPU are you running?

Was running a PIII 600 overclocked to 800 on occasion when I first put the GF3 in. That's what I got those results quoted with. Since upgraded with a new MB and an Athlon XP 1700. It's gotten even better, but not that much. Probably didn't need to do the MB and CPU at the same time. Had no idea that the video card would make such an incredible difference. I expected a good performance boost, but what I got was just incredible.
