60 Second Review of…
Squad Battles: Vietnam
Tom's review: As the first in John Tiller's new wargaming
series, we can forgive it its peccadillos: namely, a few interface
problems and an odd oversight or two. No rules for facing? No ongoing
campaign? Hopefully, Mr. Tiller will gussy up the series over the
next few iterations, just as he did with East Front/West Front/Rising
Sun (after Tiller's departure, the series took a nosedive with Divided
Ground). But even in its current state, Squad Battles: Vietnam
is a refreshing, accessible, and visceral wargame that plays out
on intimate tactical scale.
