60 Second Review of…

Dark Cloud 2

Tom's Review: What if Miyamoto had made Zelda in a world that had already been rocked by the success of Grand Theft Auto, Pokemon, Diablo, RollerCoaster Tycoon, EverQuest, and The Sims? The result would be Dark Cloud 2, a brilliant console RPG set in a vibrant world pulsing with a million and one possibilities, all of them gratifying and open-ended. Whereas many RPGs bog down in repitition the longer you play them, Dark Cloud 2 keeps getting better and better. What begins as a conventional RPG gradually unfolds into an almost flawless masterpiece of design and creativity. This, ladies and gentlemen, is what gaming is all about.
