Burnout (PS2)

Tom's review: When I reviewed this game about racing through traffic and causing multi-car pile-ups, I came up with this clever little headline: "The Joy of Wrecks". Get it? It's not very topical, since the 1972 sex manual "The Joy of Sex" isn't exactly on everyone's shelves these days. Speaking of which, I was at a friend's house recently and noticed he and his wife had "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Amazing Sex" on their living room bookshelf. As if having The Road Less Travelled, Khalil Gibran, and Rilke wasn't bad enough, there it was, in the living room, it's big fat orange spine leaping out at the casual visitor: The Complete Idiot's Guide to Amazing Sex. I'm too embarassed for him to tease him about it. At any rate, Burnout is pretty nifty. After years of awful Test Drive titles, Acclaim finally comes up with their best racer.
