Tom's review: What I'm about to say might scare off computer gamers, so I'd like to ask them to first do a search on our forums for all posts by 'TomChick' containing the keyword 'Painkiller'. Sample one of two of those posts for a more balanced sense of my enthusiasm. Then come back and read this line: "Painkiller isn't just one of the best first person shooters since Doom kicked off the genre, but it's the best action game design since last year's Ratchet & Clank 2."
