MattG and AngieD present: Sony E3 Threadcast

Threadcasting, because podcasting is already out of style. This is the cutting edge of the internet, right here on Qt3.

We're setting up now and if our hi-res GameSpot feed holds out, we'll be discussing the Sony pre-E3 press conference as it happens.

I'll chime in too, since I never get around to canceling my GameSpot Complete subscription.

Thus far, I'm still seeing 'Stay Tuned'

I'm just so excited to be participating in such a cutting-edge experiment! I can't wait for the fount of news and information to flow! I mean, I can't wait!

....hello?

....I said I CAN'T WAIT. What part of "CAN'T WAIT" do you bleeding-edge "threadcasters" (aka forum bloggers) not UNDERSTAND?!?!?!!!!

This threadcasting thing needs a progress bar, or something :-D

These big deal press conferences never go off on time. Because they're run by marketing people.

There's always an implicit "-ish" after the starting time.

Sony seems very bullish on this new "Stay Tuned" game. I'm not really impressed by the graphics though, and the animation, what animation?

Sony is indeed running late. They have not seated people by the time it was supposed to start. Stay tuned.

I was never tuned in to Sony, so it'll be hard to stay that way.

Clearly going to be a delayed start. The jokes just make themselves, don't they?
Yes. Yes, they do.

What I want now is to be a backstage fly on the wall. Wonder if their demo PS3's just released their Magic Blue Smoke....

Sorry, I snuck out for a Jade-Empire-bashing break. Wait, it still hasn't started?

At the very least, the GameSpot feed hasn't started. At least I get to be entertained by all the wonderful live chat! or not.

I'm hearing that the start may be delayed by 45 minutes. Fucking loading times! This is unacceptable for a next gen machine!

Looks that way. I've got some Kameo co-op to play at 8:00 EST. Somehow that's fitting. 360 owners can play right now!

Microsoft should take this opportunity to start their own press conference.
