I don't know how funny this will be if you've been out of college long enough to grow up.

No, that is not a joke. That little ad started a mini-scandal here in Tennessee because Bob Corker (Harold Ford Jr.'s Republican opponent) did not like it (nor produce it) - the RNC did.

Since federal law says a nominee cannot coordinate on independent expenditures related to advertising, Corker had to send out a press release to tell the RNC to knock it off. The RNC's answer: Too bad.

Ah the joys of Tennessee politics.

That is awesome. I like how he goes through all the little stalking behaviours, like feigning disinterest, then leaping onto the TP monster again.

I'll have to see if I can find some of the crazier attack ads on youtube. There were some hilarious ones against Dean in '04 (pre-scream).

Former UFC heavyweight champ Mark Coleman gets beaten down in the ring, then brings his sobbing 7- and 9-year old daughters into the ring to introduce them to the man who turned his face into hamburger:

I was so happy when I found this. It's personal to me, for many reasons, which many of you can probably figure out. I also met the guy who did the video; he's brilliant at this and has won dozens of awards. This was his first. Enjoy.

Most Offensive Costume Party Ever!

This video was posted by a classmate of mine who does a lot of these video blogs. This installment is about a costume party I also attended over the weekend thrown by my buddy Mat (the south tower) and his roommates. While I'm in the video itself, I was the guy writing and sticking the post-its on people you'll see a bunch of times. (I went as a myspace sexual predator, so the notes were supposed to be analogous to me posting creepy things on people's profiles)

Swearing. Underage drinking. Simulated rape. Racial slurs. Truly tasteless costumes. Totally worth it.

Michigan Man Is Building Stonehenge in his Back Yard. BY HIMSELF.
Seriously. This guy is simply a retired construction worker, and he's figured out all these crazy techniques; it shows his methods in the video. He also - by himself - moved a barn 300 feet by himself. Just goes to show that education isn't everything, and often no substitute for experience experience. Well, that, and how brilliant this guy is.

I saw that guy and another guy's websites maybe four or five years ago. They use clever physics to move ginormous shit and pretty much put the final nail in the coffin of extra-terrestrials and magic and millions of slaves and other goofy explanations for how ancient peoples built crazy stuff.

That was the genius of that guy's method, I thought--it's so incredibly simple. The teeter-totter method of raising the monolith was particularly clever.
