Yahoo Answers is the worst thing ever

Why? this is why.

Dear internet, is surprise sex rape?

Anyways there have been way worse yahoo questions than that.

This one is my favourite. Yahoo Answers is awesome.

Is there even any reason to have this thread? Yahoo Answers is the universal constant of embarrassment for the human race.

Indeed, I'm using that one as my Facebook status now. It is truly sublime. However, Athryn's video is the only one that made me laugh out loud.

I like how just about any software question on Yahoo Answers has replies from people pushing scareware. Nice.

Hardy har har. I would never use the word "jizz". How pedestrian.

Anyway, the problem with Yahoo Answers is not that the answers suck. The problem is if you type a question into Google, Yahoo Answers (and other sites like it) are ranked way too high on the list. It skews Google results to the dumb and useless.

Agreed. Giving near illiterates unrestricted access to the Internet is one thing, but giving their nonsense a higher search ranking lowers the IQ of the entire Internet.

I thought that was the problem with Wikipedia.

Most of the oft cited "stupid" Yahoo Answers posts are troll/joke posts. Society as a whole is dumb, but not THAT dumb (at least among those literate enough to post on the Internet, even if in terrible English).

If the image is correct, Michael Swaim ought to get the credit.
