The Nintendo DS Spa
So the girlfriend decided she wanted to spend some of the gift certificates she'd gotten for her birthday and we ended up going out to the 'Natick Collection' in Natick, MA. It used to be the Natick Mall, but apparently some genius realized that that sounded classless, so they renamed it the Natick Collection, added a wing of high dollar stores and are now building large, non-connected buildings containing things like an enormous Crate and Barrel and a three storey American Girl Store and Bistro. The purpose, one assumes, is to hide the shame of the former Natick Mall from people driving down route 9.
Anyway, it was while wandering around the fancier wing of the mall that I saw this... ![]() It seemed a little strange, so when we made it down to the first floor we stopped and had a closer look. ![]() A closer view of the sign. ![]() My girlfriend ended up getting the Puppy Love while I sat back and watched. While she said that the massage was no great shakes, the little promotional stunt did manage to do its dirty work. The mall's GameStop is within visual range of the Nintendo DS Spa and on our way out we stopped off to get her a copy of Nintendogs. The one with the Welsh Corgi in it. She has named him Bartleby. It's all so weird. |

No Animal Crossing massage?
Aw. Sounds like fun though. Did she find the "spa" a relaxing experience? |

The Sony Enema Chamber was far less popular I bet.

It was the first eye-popping-out emote I could find.
