UT 2004 gold!
http://www.shacknews.com/docs/press/..._ut2004_gold.x
Really looking forward to this one. I hope the community pumps out some good Onslaught and Assault maps. I think the reason Assault failed the first time out was that people at the time were more interested in pure DM. Now, because of CS (like it or hate it), there is more interest in team based games.

Yeah, I've already got my preorder on the DVD version, and I can't frigging wait.

Awesomeness... everybody should buy it. Its definitely going to ROCK!
etc

Yeah, that's true, everyone should buy it. It's amazing how powerful the demo was on my decision to purchase UT20004. Before the demo, I had a passing interest in UT2004, since I did enjoy UT2003 but was dissapointed. The demo turned a passing interesting into a must-buy decision.

I was getting interested in the game because of Onsalught, but then I saw BF Vietnam went gold. I still will probably get it, but my mony for MP this month will be taken up.

Those interested in doing a quick pre-order might want to check out their local Electronics Boutique.
$39.99 with a $5 pre-order. Supposedly, you can get a $10 mail in rebate, $10 off if you bring in UT2003 and another cheap game to trade and can get a $20 EB voucher if the game is purchased prior to April 5th.

with all the newly made fans I hope some of the mods for 2k3/2k4 are finally given some attention. Theres a lot of excellent mods that are being completely ignored.

I'm looking forward to this. Onslaught and Assault will liven up our usual Sunday night UT games. :)

I dunno, I just pre-ordered BFVietnam over this because of the pre-order bonus soundtrack, which completely rocks. Well, also because I enjoyed BF1942 more than the UT line of games, but the cool soundtrack sealed the deal for me.
