Pocket PC and MP3 player hard drives.

I have the dell Axim 5 and the hard drive is so small, especially when compared to an MP3 player. You can purchase the new Dell DJ with a 40 gig hard drive, but yet my pocket pc has only a 48mb hard drive.

So why is that? Why can't I have a 40 gig hd in my pocket pc, especially since it performs like a computer?

Weight for weight, the PocketPC has a lot more in it. The display is larger, the chip count is higher. If you add even a 1.8" hard drive, the weight would double, making it unacceptable as a PDA.
