Apparently HL2 would have been delayed past 2003 regardless of the stolen code.

I'm not familiar with those forums so they might be an ironclad source, but how do we know that the email was actually from Gabe? I can type up an faux email pretty quick saying whatever I want.

I'm pretty sure the message underneath that was an email confirming the one above it .. which was posted by an Admin... so it's a 90% chance that it is real.
