    "Who wants some Wang?"

Yes. Shadow Warrior. The 3D realms game. Now being done by Flying Wild Hog through Devolver Digital.

I was going to come back with a snarky "Good lord, what crap are they trying to resurrect now?" using Rise of the Triad as a possible example, but that's already being redone.

Oh, I know. "Good lord, what crap are they trying to resurrect now? Daikatana?"

Glad I got that off my chest

    Here, let me try.

"Good lord, what crap are they trying to resurrect now? Anachronox?"

Hey, it can't hurt to get it out there.

Would've preferred Blood myself, but if today's news is any indication, that isn't necessarily beyond realm of possibility.

Whoa, this was unexpected. I've loved everything Digital Devolver's put out, and Hard Reset had such a great, volatile environment. This could be really neat. Mike Wilson's got his mojo back.

Shadow Warrior was one of my `90s guilty pleasures. I know I ought to have been offended by it on any number of levels; and yet it made me LOL more than I care to admit. Not sure if I was laughing with or at SW, but it kept me amused, which is all I really care about.

But if there's any game less in need of a gritty reboot than Shadow Warrior, I don't know what it is. So here's hoping they keep it tongue-in-cheek a la Blood Dragon rather than trying to be Dark `n Serious.

I have to agree with the Blood comment. That game would be soooo awesome if it were re-made. To be fair, I have only watched videos of Shadow Warrior being played, I haven't actually played it myself.

It was indeed a fun romp of a shooter with a lot of neat design ideas. I don't recall being able to use (and retrieve) shuriken in any other game.

And yeah, a Blood redo would be welcome too.
