    Questions for you Tivo-philes

    I'm considering buying one, but I need answers to a couple of questions:

    1. I use a Dish Network PVR as my reciever--will this present a problem since the Tivo is also a PVR?

    2. Does the sound pass out of the Tivo to my stereo receiver and if so, do any of the Tivo models have an optical out port (for 5.1 sound)?

    Geee I wish I could help you. i have a Tivo but not dish so i have no clue how that would work. Might try www.tivocommunity.com
