I guess, since my desktop is a 1280x1024, I didn't have a problem. I wonder if there's a utility that will set your desktop res for specific games, then revert back when done. It's silly that one would NEED that, though...

It is imperfect and very command line-y though. Maybe someone knows a better one which involves a reasonable GUI? (... or maybe I just missed the GUI for this one)

Oooh.. this is a great tool (I suppose) for amateurs making game videos for youtube!. (seems that professional youtubers use special videocards that automatically save video to disc without having a impact in performance ).
