I bought one and it shorted my laptop out every time I plugged it in. Never had a computer just go 'fuck no' and turn off like that the instant I plugged something in.

Computer was fine, even three tries later, but the cable went in the trash.

had no problems with my cable here but i use it to charge not sync.
