Looks ok.
New Disney moving about games! I can't wait to take my daughter to see this. I wonder how hard it was to get approval for all of the different characters?

Lol! :)
I just hope is not ruines by some stupid morality like "Violent videogames are bad". That will be retarded.
Holy cow, how'd they get all those characters in one place? Looks neat!
Maybe you have to be a certain age.. I literally LOL'd when they showed the Q-Bert thing.
(Seems pretty obvious why this is posted in the games thread.. looks like an entertaining movie to me, but Disney + CG + Games is like a sniper head-shot to my movie pleasure centers, so I may not be the most objective..)
This actually looks better than I would have guessed from the concept. I'd hope they have more surprise "worlds" that he goes to, and didn't give them all away in the trailers, but it has me interested.
Probably won't be as good as ReBoot though.
The only trademarked character I saw was Q-Bert. Everybody else appeared to be generic stand-ins.
I like John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman and Jane Lynch, but if the trailer is anything to go by, this looks pretty damn formulaic, with video games slotted in as just the latest setting for the 10,000th version of this story. I can honestly say I have zero interest in seeing it.

The devil just makes me think of Tim Curry from Legend...
As you say, the girl looks like somebody, although I can't get a clear shot to see. The generic ninja may also be specifically dressed from a particular game, again, I couldn't tell from the scenes we have.
Good catch on the HotD zombie. The axes seemed familiar, but I couldn't place him.
Considering what we have identified, I'd expect them all to be licensed from something or another. The confirmed publishers (Nintendo, Sega, Capcom, Namco, etc.) might give some hints if we skim their old back catalogs.
I'm in. Cute little concept and fun throwbacks for every parent taking their kid to go see this! Yes, my 6 year old son won't get 99% of the game references but I will!
Cautiously optimistic; the premise looks interesting, appeals to my nostalgic sense, and embraces the idea that individual games are part of a common medium. I also like movies with genre-aware characters, since they're typically more willing to subvert the usual tropes.
However, I'm concerned that the narrative will be a rehash of things I've seen before. Of course, that's always a concern with every movie, and sometimes it just comes down to the execution.
IGN found a few I didn't notice:

Was the devil the Dungeon keeper guy?
Maybe he's from Satan's Hollow?
Cute Wreck-It Ralph promo: http://disney.go.com/wreck-it-ralph/#/fixitfelix
There's a viral campaign going around where Disney is asking for "original cabinets" of this game.
You guys seriously don't recognize bowser? That's...
Holy shit at this thread.
