What the heck, I have to wait again after accepting the invite? And I had the first turn. I guess Frozen Synapse spoiled me for asynchronous multiplayer.

As I suspected, I'm already puzzling over the simplest choices a lot more than I did against the AI. I didn't know about all the efficient strategy behind the game until a couple weeks ago.

tooler defeats harry_horse 89-76. In my first game of Ascension in the QT3 league, I defeated the Avatar to defeat Samael on the same turn. I also had the Hedron Cannon laying around, but I didn't use it much.

harry_horse is probably kicking himself for grabbing that 1 rune card that revealed Samael for my turn. (I learned that lesson from the QT3 exhibition games!) Although I guess he would've popped out after I defeated the Avatar?
