Let's just hold off on this then and wait until after E3 to find a date that gives everyone a little time to prepare. Counting one extra child plus MaybeNever and Douglas that would get us to fifteen which I believe is Chet's suggested limit. Looks like E3 runs from June 5-7 this year so I'll bump this thread possibly mid-June and we can look at a late June get together at Valve. Any objections?

Hey kids! I didn't forget about this but ... Ok I kind of did. So, how's everybody doing, still interested in this thing? Hopefully the folks at Valve have recovered from E3 and might be up for some drooling Qt3 fanboys walking through the halls? I'm assuming the list of interested people is unchanged, if that's incorrect post here and we'll update the count. If we have a date/time that works, I'll ask a Valve representative (though Chet is the only one I can identify around these parts) to let us know if we're still on, and when would work best.
Apropos of nothing at all, today is my son's one month birthday - happy birthday Connor!
Still up for this, just suggest a date! If it happened on a weekend, a pre/post-tour meetup would be fun too.

I was kind of wondering about that actually - weekends would be good for not getting in the way of actual work getting done, but we can't ask someone to take time out of their weekend just to show us around. So! What do you say, folks, any preferences? I'll go ahead and put mine out there: all else being equal, I'd like to shoot for a Friday afternoon. Partly because I work from home on Fridays so it's pretty easy for me to scoot out, and partly because by the end of the week we should hopefully be fairly inconspicuous, or at least not get in people's way as much, I hope. What do you all think?

My choice was mostly arbitrary, so feel free to suggest another day then! Probably this should be a poll.
Well, unfortunately at this point all of June is booked solid. If were choosing a date it would have to be more than two weeks out, so way too late for everyone else.
I don't know if I can retroactively add a poll to this thread, and I am kind of reluctant to create a new one, just out of concern of further muddying the waters here. If all the folks who want to attend want to just throw out a date that works for you, I am ok with tracking that info and trying to find a compromise that hopefully works for everyone.
I'm out of town in the last week+ of July. Other than that, I'm agreeable.
I'd like to put my name on the list of interested parties.
6/29 works well for me, but I'm pretty flexible so just about anything will do.
