I like to browse the listing sites and dream of the house I would buy were I rich:

I thought this would be about Million Dollar Listing. But then I suppose it would have been in a different subforum. :)

My boss lives across from a professional athlete, who decided to send a tweet about 'good to be home' except he used a picture of my bosses' house instead!

    Oh lord, want!

I don't really have a dream home, I'd rather live on a starbase or a ship like Serenity, but I'll have to find something now to contribute. ;)

What about one of those decomissioned nuclear silos, decorated suitably?

I would have thought Brian Rubin would want to live on the space station.

    I am disappoint!

It was David Rockefeller's private office! It has a 1300 sq. ft. terrace and a solarium!

Be careful about what's actually in there.

I used to live round the corner from this place:

The video is worth a look. Yes, the driveway is marble with heating underneath. You mean your driveway isn't?

"A Tribute to Completion" sounds like ad copy for an asian massage parlor on Craigslist.

I'd have Constantine's mansion built complete with traps and the little big world that was introduced in Thief Gold. Maybe even throw in some rent a cops to role play grumpy along with appropriate banter and grumbling.

I'm not big on living in Manhattan, but that penthouse apartment makes me drool. It's also about a block away from the job I just left, dammit!

5-bedroom near the Presidio, built in 1913 with a full bar downstairs! Fecking gorgeous. If that lottery ever hits, this baby is mine.

Whoa, that's less than a block from where I rent. My place isn't nearly that expensive (or large, or nice).

Hey, that's the house I immediately thought of!

I wandered past when they were doing an open house and fell madly in love with everything about it. (Except it's price.) Even by the standards of the Lake District it's kind of ridiculous.

Very nice but I don't speak French so the natives would have my head. What is a congress room? I would plant the whole thing with Zinfandel just to piss 'em off.

    ----------------------------------

Updown Court?...would they let me rename it Funkytown? Avon-On-Doorbell? Hmmm...wrong kind of bowling lanes. Candlepin is cool. No indoor tennis/basketball court? Is the 46 acres stocked with game? I would want to shoot harts and pheasant...and poachers. There seem to be too many pools. Why so many pools?

    Could happen.

We looked at a flat on this road:

That's a bit more special. The view is amazing.

"The long leasehold interest of the property, held for a term until 23 July 2125, is offered for sale with vacant possession"

    What does this mean?

What is the difference between a grade 1 and a grade 2?
