    Windows Phone 7.5 experience

    The Metro UI and performance are quite good.

    The use of Zune software to sync music stinks. It also won't sign me in since my Win7 is set to use US English for regional settings where no other program has complained before and insists on me setting it to English Canada. Not even the shitty GFWLive marketplace or Windows Live Messenger was quirky like this. Microsoft has made something worse than iTunes.

    Well, the weird language bug you've run into aside, I found the Zune software to be extremely useable, if needlessly "designed" when I had to use it to sync a friend's Zune on my PC once a few years ago.

    Never even touched a Win7 phone, though. Hell, I don't know if I've ever even seen one.

    it's pretty awesome i can uninstall the carrier-installed apps easily enough.

    Obtuse XBL/Xbox.com/GFWL error messages appear again. It won't accept either of my credit cards for some bizarre reason. Oh well. No paid WP7 apps for me.
