Oh, cool, Bulletstorm uses and requires Games for Windows LIVE! I fucking love GFWL!
Great April Fools joke, guys, well played.
Another vote for the Neverwinter Nights 2 campaign. I really enjoyed it. And thats coming from someone who gave up on NWN 1 campaign very quickly.
NWN2 belongs in the Baldurs Gate->NWN2->Dragon Age:Origins linage. Although I admit its not as good as either of those stellar games, its still damn good.
Amazon has a sale on THQ games, mostly DOW2 DLC, but Space Marine is down to $10.
Impulse has Amalur for $40, and Mass effect 3 for $50.

Nwn2 mask of the betrayer is even better than nwn2 as well, in my opinion.
This NWN2 talk makes me think I should play that next instead of Icewind Dale. That's because there's always a chance IWD will get the Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition treatment, so waiting would be smart.
Regardless, I'm about ready for a top-down party-based RPG. I have to ration those carefully with all the first- and third-person RPGs out there.
Target has preorders of Diablo 3 for $60 with a $20 Target card. I'm thinking that $40 is the cheapest it is going to be for at least a couple of years.
Is there a link for that Target deal? I go to Target and am not seeing it.
Since I already have GFWL (piss be upon it) $5.00 is the price I've been waiting for, for Bulletstorm. Fun game.
Or you could try the IWD mod for NWN 2 I mentioned like 20 posts ago. :-)
I thought about it, but I'd like it to be slightly old school for nostalgia.
The Samsung 830 SSD Desktop kit is down to $309 at Newegg. It was $379 yesterday. I just bought one, so expect some questions in the hardware forum soon!
Edit: forgot link. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...g-_-20-147-135
If I knew how much I'd enjoy Bulletstorm I'd have gotten it sooner.
I got it and played it this weekend. It really was a great single player game. The only real complaint I had was the ending of the game, which seems to be a typical problem of FPS games these days. The devs didn't know how to end it and just threw a bunch of BS stuff at you over and over. Not just ridiculous encounters, but timed runs and several "fake" endings.
I did love the sense of humor and the rest of the game. Ill be interested in playing bullet storm 2 if and when that is made. I just wish the co-op multi-player had a story mode. All it turned out to be was a team survival match where you just take one waves of bad guys.
In a bizarre pairing, GamersGate has put the Serious Sam games and the Patrician games on sale. Serious Sam 3 is $16, Patrician 4 Gold is $7.50.
This one is a little trickier, but if you have a Best Buy Reward Zone account (which isfree), you can use a coupon in March's @Gamer magazine to get Final Fantasy XIII-2 for $15, and Arkham City for $10.
The magazine is $5, though - so add that into your calculation.
Playing through NWN2 now in co-op and I agree the beginning is a bit of a drag but once we got to the city of Neverwinter, we felt like it picked up a lot. Almost done with chapter 1 now.
FEAR 3 for $7.68 on Greenman Gaming. Steamworks (it really does).
Gamersgate is selling Hegemony Gold for $15, possibly to compete with Steam now carrying the game.
Blur is $5 on Steam today. I have it. It's fun for a little while. MP was dead the last time I played.
