    Our Idiot Brother

Since Bucky Larson was sold out, I got a ticket to see Our Idiot Brother. It was a really sweet little comedy - highly recommended. Except that I didn't buy Zooey Deschanel and Rashida Jones as a couple for even a second. They need to take some chemistry lessons from Annette Benning and Julianne Moore.

You should catch this before it leaves the theaters.

I think someone should start a poll: "Animated emoticons! Y/N?"

I pined for more Adam Scott ("Who is going to watch Dune on SyFy with Jeremy?"). It wasn't quite as funny as I was expecting, but it had plenty of funny parts and it was very cute and very charming.

I'm a huge fan of Paul Rudd and it's the first thing I've seen him in that I didn't like. It had a few little laughs, and long periods without any humor at all. Maybe its because I'm the complete opposite of Rudd's character so I didn't really like his character. Maybe it just seemed to contrived (meanwhile I have no problem with him being court ordered to be big brothers in Role Models).

The ending was also tacked on and cliche.

Which is interesting because most of Role Models I hated. I think they might have advertised this movie incorrectly though. It's not what I was expecting, and that was a good thing for me.

Apparently this movie means "idiot" in the Dostoevsky sense. I did not realize that.
