Yeah, I'd kind of gambled on you starting to raid, with your Kings' sailing ability and that huge pile of sneaky big dogs of yours. Wrong guess, I should've moved out. However, my resources are far from being exhausted, while your army has gone poof.

My experience era-wise amounts to one MA game and Foss, so I'm with Nate here: LA is fine.
EDIT: Mods I can do without.
I'd much prefer if the nation-to-provinces ratio were a little (or a lot) higher than in Foss, though.

Are you also going to provide info about the map? I'd like to know its size before I build a pretender.

Are we banning any nations or going with the full gamut on random?
All nations except pure underwater ones are in the pool. So R'lyeh is exluded.
Very nice map, aside from the eysore.
Six Lands has those arbitrary colored area issues. Well-balanced, though. And Bering is the best seven player map I've ever seen, though that has water.
What are the most balanced maps out there for each number of players?

Hey, I was trying to be all secretive and stuff.
While we're talking about RAND, anyone have any qualms about having the magic set to difficult? I've never played with difficult magic, so if it upsets the balance or anything, i have no problems with standard....
I'm against it. Difficult research means that bless is the only way to go => sucks to be a non-bless nation.

I think difficult research is a must in larger RAND games, to give nations that aren't lategame powerhouses a chance. Don't think this game is large enough to warrant it though.
