Edit: I did create my Pretender with CBC 1.92 installed. Just don't know what the Ettin Fix refers to.

I did this as well. My pretender looks fine. She will crush you or anything man related.
Everybody else has played the turn so I'm guessing there was no other problem.
DP, my belief is that you should be fine. If not, we'll restart.
As long as you created your pretender in some form of CBM 1.92, you won't get the archmage. You do need to download the mod CBM 1.92 Ettin Fix, though.
In the original 1.92 there was a site that let you recruit Ettins for zero gold. The Ettin Fix removes this option. The rest is unchanged AFAIK.
I say let's just try it out: Load the Ettin Fix mod, try to make a turn and we'll see whether llamaserver complains. My guess is that nothing's gonna happen.

I'm playing in a game currently where the exact same thing happened. We'll be fine.
There's no link to the Ettin Fixed CBM on Llamaserver. Can anyone hook me up? Meanwhile, I will keep searching.
