Blood Bowl meta-thread.

The names of the various Blood Bowl leagues are somewhat confusing. So, for myself and all the new guys out there, let me see if I got this right:

European League; Closed league format, run by Kalle, european timezone preferred, currently in the sign-up stage for season 2. Season 1 won by Kalle.

Old World League; Closed league format, run by Strategy, european timezone preferred, currently waiting for Strategy to start the sign-up thread for season 2. Season 1 won by me.

Qt3 Blood Bowl: The Open League; Open league format, run by Kalle, no preferred timezone, currently in the sign-up stage for season 1. (Are there really different seasons in an open league?)

Quarter to Three Dice Block - western Blood Bowl league; Closed league format, run by Nathan Phoenix, US timezone preferred, currently in the playoffs of season 1.


If I got something wrong, or if there's a new league, or if you think of anything else that ought to be included, post in this thread or PM me and I'll update this post. I also plan to keep score of the winners of each season.

Sten, some confusion here. I made a general European signup thread because both the European leagues had finished at roughly the same time and I wanted to get the momentum going again and see how many people would be interested. I figure the leagues would sort themselves out after that. Once we see how many people are willing to sign up the league threads can follow.

So, some corrections.

The Old World Qt3 Cup; Closed league format, run by Strategy, european timezone preferred, currently waiting for Strategy to start the sign-up thread for season 2. Season 1 won by Kalle. This is the primary European Qt3 league.

Qt3 Euro Conference: Closed league format, run by Kalle, european timezone preferred, currently waiting for Kalle to start the sign-up thread for season 2. Season 1 won by Sten. This is a secondary league for people who want to play two teams concurrently.

Qt3 Open League: This is a league without seasons, schedules, and no preferred time zones. Simply sign up with a team and challenge other coaches when you feel like it.
