Thanks to the 2010 VGAs we have a pretty interesting teaser using Top Gear footage and some of that Kinect walkaround sequence.

Top Gear USA official tie-in?
Night racing?
Weather?
Off-road?
Kinect features?

Note the sky in both scenes are the same:

Leaked video.
I call shenanigans. It's April 1st.
If that is a prank, it must've been really expensive to pull off- that's a damn high quality clip.
I'll guess that the prank of it is that it said it was for internal use. Inside marketing is irritating or boring as hell in my experience.
As for the clip itself: Holy Shite, this is going to be a fine xmas.
Eh, at this point in Forza's evolution, the devil's in the details. Car clubs sound like a great idea, but exactly what will we be able to do with them?
Speaking of which, some little things I'd like to see improved in F4:
- Making leaderboards more relevant to some events. It doesn't really mean anything to compare you against the most finely-tuned B500 cars if the event restricted you to a stock B423 car.
- Annotations or flagging. I'd wind up with a whole bunch of cars with ratings near the top of the class, but I couldn't always remember which ones were actually effective or were failed or in-progress experiments, or what they were tuned for.
- Binding of assists to specific cars or classes. I only bothered to turn TC on for R2 or R1 cars, and it was annoying having to go and toggle assists on or off between races, often leading to starting a race with them set the wrong way.
And hopefully they overhaul the career mode again. After getting the official six seasons out of the way, I just started picking randomly from the full event list and never touched the calendar again.
Did I see Justine Beaver in that clip?
I'll tell you what I saw. This logo:

I hope Forza 4 has 16-car single-player races, as well as Le Mans-style racing with prototypes and GT cars sharing the track. And while I'm hoping, more (real) North American tracks (Mosport, Lime Rock, Watkins Glen, etc).
Looks like the Top Gear track is in there. Also looks to be a potential for Kinect head tracking.

Four-hour E3 event for Forza 4.
Preorders are already available now, before we even really know what's new in it, and dammit, they're doing the different-rewards-by-retailer thing... There's also a car pack that will be limited to the 'first run' of game discs, not just preorders, and the obligatory collector's edition (details not yet known).
Yeah, I'll hold off until we know more about the actual game.
Hmmm. Does this mean Porsche may be out?RUF RGT-8 2011: The spectacular RGT-8 is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 engine that has been fine tuned to deliver unmatchable sports car power and curb appeal.
Sweet. Amazon gets the Subaru WRX STI. That's the one I wanted anyway, out of that list.
That's awesome. For those who have invested tireless hours in “Forza Motorsport 3”, Turn 10 Studios is pleased to announce a unique “Forza Motorsport 4” feature called Profile Import, which rewards fans for their time. Based on your player level and the cars in your garage in “Forza Motorsport 3”, gift cars will be automatically added to your “Forza Motorsport 4” garage and you’ll also receive bonus gifts and credits. And for those who spent hours creating intricate layers and liveries in the “Forza Motorsport 3” Livery Editor, you will be able to import those layers, so your time isn’t lost!
If you don't buy games with bonuses per retailer, you won't have much to buy. It's a shitty practice, but more and more games do it.
I like pre-order bonuses, but I think the retailer based ones are crap. CoH was the first one I saw.
Wish I could afford Kinect for this though.
I liked the Collector's Edition for Forza 3. I hope the one for Forza 4 is as good if not better.
At least the car Amazon has (where I buy everything) is better than the rest. :)
Oh great, sandwich the excellent livery and profile imports and collectors editions with retailer exclusives, the only thing worse than the pre-order bonus.
"Hey, let's restrict content based on an arbitrary decision. And let's have it done in a way so NOBODY gets 100% of the game!"
Such bullshit, and I can't even begin to comprehend why publishers are doing it.
Have they announced a collector's edition? I assume there will be one, but I didn't see it on Amazon.
They mention that there will be a collector's edition, but details are not yet known.
