His specials are starting to blur -- a middle-aged man discusses fatherhood, masturbation, and ungratefulness while he sweats through a black t-shirt.

You can tell the newer ones because he talks about dicks more and more as time progresses.

Louis CK was recently on NPR's Fresh Air. Another great interview with lots of cool insight about how he makes his show. You can find a podcast on iTunes.

Also, you can just stream it here. It's worth hearing.

I said that already.

Oh, sorry, I don't know much about Reddit. For instance, I didn't know what an AMA was or that Reddit was a site for pedophiles. Also, I thought that the Q and A was just yesterday but you posted on the 12th. All those reasons and I'm still wrong.

So this is really cool. He hit a $1million in 10 days and posted exactly what he's doing with the money:
I can't tell you how much I respect that guy.

Seriously. What an awesome guy.

I extracted the audio from the thing and listened to it on my Ipod on my way back from Alabama Monday. The bit about Clifford almost made me run off the road.

I just bought the thing. Hats off to Mr. Szekely for doing this.

Season 2 of Louie on Netflix streaming. My weekend is now ruined.

Louie is probably one of my favorite TV shows ever. I think it's funny, smart, and even profound at times. It just really resonates with me. I thought I'd just throw that out there.
Please come soon, season 3!
Also, your father's dead.

Watched it all in 2 sittings.

Yesterday he announced $45 tickets, all fees inclusive, direct from his website. A bunch of venues around the country. I'm hitting a NYC performance in October.
06-26-2012, 07:15 AM
Thanks, man. I got my tickets.
06-26-2012, 07:41 AM
I got pretty good seats since I saw his email early. 10th row center. Looking forward to it.

Louie is so awesome. I was really confused when I didn't see any "convenience" fees when I bought my Seattle tickets last night.
06-28-2012, 09:58 AM
100,000 tickets and $4.5 million in less than two days:
looks like The Paramount in Seattle added two late shows. December 20th and 21st had only 7PM shows when I bought tickets, now there are 10PM shows too.

Not coming anywhere near NC. Grrrr... Road trip!

Premiere was pretty enjoyable, but it feels like it is a tad different without him editing the show as well.

Great premiere. I've had similar parking sign experiences in DC. The diner scene was also fantastic.

Really likes Kinect
Wow, last night's episode was excruciatingly good.

I'm still giggling over his daughter's joke -- not with her delivery, but his. Having two daughters, I can totally relate to some of the things that he's going through, and their unique sense of humor is one.

So how is nobody talking about the fact that Louie got raped in the latest episode?
07-08-2012, 09:05 PM
Is it online anywhere? I'm seeing nothing on Hulu or FX.
07-09-2012, 06:47 AM
Really likes Kinect
In different ways, it happens in nearly every episode.

No... this was an actual rape. Not just non-consensual, although he did make it very clear that it was non-consensual, but she even beat him up and threatened him to do it.
I guess maybe people are scared of triggering a P&R type discussion in here, and.... you know what, I agree with that.
