Anyone else up for sone forza 3 tonight on xbox live? Me and harkonis have been playing fairly regularly the last few days and Sundays he's been trying to get as many people racing. Does anyone else want to hop on tonight and race?

Even if I don't get on "tonight" I'll send you a friend request CSL and hopefully we can race later. Since I got a wheel for Christmas I've been getting slowly better with it. The first couple of days my brain was still wired to use the controller but finally it's figured out that I'm using a wheel and pedals. Coffee usually helps.
What class do you usually race? Please don't say anything with an "R" in it!

I've got some newbie friends that I've been playing with lately (one of which is using a racing wheel) and we've found D class to be a nice sweet spot. The cars can still be relatively fast 100mph+ meaning they're still fun to drive, but they're also forgiving enough that newbies can feel like they're racing and not just running into walls all the time :) We each built, upgraded and tuned a D class car and have been racing those in a variety of ways.
So, what I'm saying is, if we have some newbie people and some more experienced people all trying to play together, maybe we should all trick out some D class cars to race each other with :)
I'd love to play Forza with anyone almost any night but Friday or Saturday. Got the girlfriend on those nights and some things just take priority. I haven't played online yet and know nothing about tuning or such, but it looks like it would be a hoot. I even have the steering wheel, but have never actually hooked it up. Money well spent!!
Just picked up the game on Saturday and would love to get in on this. I'm debating whether to buy the wheel, and will most likely be fighting with the controller for the time being. Do we want to pick a Class, or a theme or something, for this week? I'd like to get started on my car.
I'm sad I missed this on Sunday.
we pretty much race everything. lately we've been doing a lot of F class as new people get acclimated. Ideally you would have a speed and a handling car for each class.
We also occasionally drift (usually A class) and drag (usually S) but both of those don't happen often.
Sometimes we have a car of the week where we'll all take the same model car and tune it to a certain class (like Range Rover to B class) then all race the same one.
Right on. I'll keep playing to earn credits and then just start with Class F and work my way up.

Furthermore of the F classes we've done a lot of racing with the Datsun 510. Hark has generously put his tuner up for sale so we can all go at it even.
Tonight we even managed to get in some stock car racing which was great fun all by itself. At one point we got seven people on as well for some Nurburring action.
