Two sides to every story and all that I guess. This article makes it sound more of a two-way relationship but he acts (and is) a bit young even in the descriptions there. Perhaps her leaving will encourage him to confront what's more important in his life.

It sounds like, from the article at least, he does like Kim and care about her. I'm assuming either he is an addicted-to-competition type or maybe there are more problems in the relationship we just don't know about. I mean, in one extreme we have Tiger Woods, who apparently cheats on a whim while his wife is pregnant, and on the other extreme we have Andy Murray, a non-drinker, non-partier who plays video games. A woman has to pick what she wants but understand there are some things that wont change. Perhaps she wasn't able to get him to quit playing video games after "cleaning him up" and resented that.
