I loved the Chang B story; A story, not so much.
And Legos have gotten crazy complicated over the past 20 years or so.
I am a mystery.
I think the show would be 10x better at this point without Chang. The B plot of the last episode was awful and the whole security guard Chang thing has been pretty bad.
Chang was great in series one, but they are really milking him now and it's just distracting.
The Dean and Chang are the only options they have for a B story if the entire gang is caught up in the A story, which has to happen occasionally, so I can see why they keep him around.
Nah, there should just be a Starburns episode.
When did Legos get so complicated? Was it Bionicle? Star Wars? Lego City? Why LEGO, Why?
I like Chang's character as a foil for the others, but this stuff where he's out on his own like this past episode just doesn't hold up. It was a decent episode that suffered because of the B-story. I'd rather see more Dean vs. John Goodman than Security Guy Chang.
I cannot believe that there are people who want less Chang. You guys are nuts.
Chang's shtick has gotten tiresome lately. The character is all over the place and the only direction seems to be "Let's make him zanier and zanier! It'll be awesome!"
This year's Chang seems a far cry from the Chang who had hobbies, a life, and a wife from the past seasons. He was always eccentric but they've really ratcheted stuff up.
So the diceless one was the real one, right? I hope we get to visit #1 again -that coda was awesome.
Yes, the diceless one was the real one. Great episode.
I'm confident that Inspector Spacetime will be able to stop Evil Troy and Abed before they can spring their evil plot.
No Chang = best episode of the season so far. That guy is the worst. I'm starting a Please Fire Chang campaign.
I watched Big Bang Theory for the first time in awhile, then watched this Community. It struck me how BBT is a show about geeks, but is really just a typical sitcom. While Community is a show FOR geeks.
Also -- totally called the called the last variation being the one where Jeff is called out for rigging the game.
This was by far the best episode of the season.
It's not his fault. He used to be awesome. I think it's because the writers have lately seen fit to give every single character equal time. They keep putting Chang in ridiculous side stories. He's being misused. This reminds me of the poorer Seinfeld episodes because they insisted on giving each of the four characters just a couple minutes an episode.
My God that was awesome. Super enjoyable despite all the repetition; it was like the Diablo of sitcoms!
Brilliant. That episode should show up in all 'Best X Episodes of Community' retrospective after the show ends.
Totally amazing episode tonight. The chaos and destruction when Troy went for the pizza had me hyperventilating.
I like Chang, but like the Dean, he should be used sparingly. A little goes a long way.
Did anyone else notice that the apartment was Number 303, or was that just me being particluarly Abed?
