    Oh fuck, Angela's Ashes is easily one of my favorite books of all time. It's depressing because my local bookstore has a ton of used copies for a dollar, and I must've picked up a dozen over the years to give out to friends.

    I think I saw him in Brooklyn once, but I was too shy to approach him. I'm sure he would've preferred my not gushing about his book, though.

    I dunno, I've never known an Irishman who didn't love a good unadulterated praising.
