Why, because you don't already own the game and can't launch it with DOS Box ?
I'm not trying to be a troll here, but if you HAVE to play it there are other ways...
I think we can all agree that the the new Indy games looks fantastic. I'm sure the Wiimote controls are well thought out and fully integrated into the gameplay, not just a cheap excuse to make people go through a whipping motion every five minutes.
So why even bother talking about what will no doubt be everyone's a GotY? So sayeth the AV Club:
These fuckers are going to make me buy this. The Wii version’s inclusion of the classic 1992 Indy point-and-click adventure, Indiana Jones And The Fate Of Atlantis

I want this game to be awesome, but I fear that will not be the case.
I can assure you that the LucasArts game is, in fact awesome.
The only copy of this I had was in my 6th grade classroom, where it always lost to Oregon Trail unless I managed to finish my work before everyone else. So I like the idea of re-releasing it. But I need some way to tell the developers that the only reason I'm buying their stupid game is because they put an excellent one on the disk.
There doesn't seem to be a way to do that, outside of snarky forum posts.
"I waggle where you waggle, I touch nothing!"
I almost feel compelled to buy this to support the notion of putting classic LucasArts adventures on the Wii, in whatever form they're willing.
Ignoring the fact that all review scores are terrible and reviews should be about the text and blaargh, I've been amusing myself by facetiously arguing that this shouldn't score lower than an 8. I mean, you're buying Fate of Atlantis, and you get a shitty action game with it free. Bargain, surely.
More seriously, I admit I'm tempted too. I have Fate of Atlantis lying around and I'm well-versed in the arcane ways of DOSBox, but there's something awfully appealing about playing it on Wii.
Does anyone know if the Fate of Atlantis on the Wii is the "talkie" version?
