FTC to hold town hall on DRM including computer games
http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post...l-meeting.html
Anybody going to submit a proposal? Anyone here on any of the panels? Should be interesting to say the least. I hope it means something in the end.

I guess with Apple's announcement that they will be ending DRM on their Itunes music, that's one media that can be left out of the discussion.

It really shouldn't be necessary for the FTC to get involved in this. There's no reason why the industry can't put their heads together and come up with some sensible guidelines for DRM disclosure themselves.

PS: Speaking of which, seeing Cliffski's Democracy 2 ad at the top of the page with a little "NO DRM" icon on it, it's kinda interesting how the lack of DRM has become an advertising tool these days.
