Sorry about the late response. Last night was JW: Black -- finishing off the bottle tonight. My tummy hurts though, so it's not as fun as last night. :(

So what are you guys and gals drinking?

Well I started at dinner with a perfectly made Manhattan. Then the brother and I had a carafe of the house red which was quite tasty. Now I'm drinking Brooklyn Brewery's Brooklyn East IPA. Very hoppy and nicely bitter.

It will soon be a typical night: Elijah Craig 18.

Watch out, Shadari. The hangover is inversely proportional to the price of the whiskey.

    My house!

Celebrating an accepted talk that I don't remember submitting.

Your vocabulary hurts my head. I had to look up your fancy bourbon and now you're accepting talks that you submitted.. that's so vague! So are you like gonna be on Conan next week or something? Submitting a talk. Hmm. Submitting a paper I can comprehend. A talk... that I'm having trouble with. :(

Oh fire, I was about to propose to you, but then I saw your Steam profile. You own like 4 games. You console... uh... bad girl!

It's not a representative sample, I swear! I have at least 3 games in the queue that were gifted and I didn't pick up. I maybe have forgotten my Steam password. Oh no, I'm making it worse!

Oh man, where do we go from here?

I'd challenge you at Madballs, but you don't even know your password. Sheesh! \

OK, I had to look up Madballs, but I still have the upper hand because you're drinking Jack Walker.

Maybe now's a good time to ask for multiplayer game suggestions that run on Mac that take under 5-10 minutes per play. Don't say speed chess because it should be compatible with my Elijah habit.

I am very tired, from working way too much. Is basically the same thing as being trashed by alcohol, without the alcohol thing.

Elijah Craig. The bourbon that made me think, "Why the hell did I ever like Makers' Mark?"

Actually Maker's is tasty. But more of a mixer than a straight sipper for me.

Er, Shadari, maybe half a bottle of Scotch per night for several nights in a row isn't really something to ignore.

That was the first time I drank on a weeknight in ages. It was an exception to the rule.

For the record, I now have four games. Three, if you don't count Team Fortress 2 Beta (which you shouldn't).

So tonight was my wife, my brother and I going to the Waterfront Ale House for dinner. Of course it was St. Pat's day. One of their specials was a lovely lamb Shepard's pie. The bro and I had that. The wife had the fish and chips. they were all fantastic as usual.

I started with a Knob Creek reserve. Then I had a few more. And a few pints of some kind of ale. Which I fucking forget. My brother had Duvel.

Fucking great food and drink. Having more IPA now.

    Fook yeah!
