My in-laws are in town this week. They're staying with us. I get along with 'em OK, I guess, but still.... oof.

1/2 bottle of wine and a beer down so far tonight and I'm still sober. This is not good. I think it's time to pay a visit to the whiskey thread or something...

Don't mention Nazi Popes. That makes Italian in-laws really upset for some stupid reason.

    I've only had two beers.

One was 15% and the other 10%, but it was still only two beers.

11:30 - Wake up and realize you've missed 2 classes, decide to skip all class today, don't be a half-ass. eat lunch. this is the last meal I'll have for a long time
1:00 - meeting with Professor about lab you slept through.
    1:10-5:45 - campus bar
5:45-6:00 - walk home, convince girl to make you dinner
6:03 - pass out before dinner is ready
    6:03-11:30 - sleep
11:30-11:35 - wake up, think you blacked out friday night, wonder what you did
11:35-11:45 - realize it's night time, text people to tell them you aren't coming out. go out anyways.
12:00-1:45 - get drunk off of drinks that you alternately bought and found.
2:00 - wonder what I'm doing with my life. very drunk, very well rested, not very sleepy. time to go get high so that I can fall asleep and hopefully get some work done tomorrow

Since my last drunken Night Ranger update, I have seen them in concert at the "Taste of Blue Ash" festival just outside of Cincinnati. And I caught the set list thrown by the guitarist that wasn't in the original band. But looked a lot like the singer from Skid Row. Who was a guest star on Gilmore Girls for a few episodes. Sebastian Bach. That guy.

Oh, and I ate at a Skyline chili while the Little River Band was eating there, because my friend convinced me that the tour bus in the bowling alley outside was Night Ranger's. And then I had to convince him it was the Little River Band.

Night Ranger still continues to rock.

That sounds awesome, Sidd. Good to hear that you can still rock (and dine) in America.

Had a party with good friends + families:
    - got hellishly drunk
    - played guitar out-of-tune
    - sung out-of-tune
    - played guitar + singed out-of-tune
    - poured beer over my best buddy
    - poured more beer over everyone else
    - got my wife very angry at me
    - tried to pick a fistfight with 3 of my good friends
    - threw away my clothes
    - passed out naked in the middle of the hallway

Next morning was not pretty. Still makes me cringe.

The soft, squishy seal on Maker's Mark bottles becomes very brittle and crumbly when cold.

Pro-tip: remove the seal before placing new bottle in freezer.
Pro-tip #2: three fingers over rocks later, you don't care.

It was my birthday yesterday, and that's the drunkest I've ever been in my life without getting my stomach pumped. I don't even remember leaving my house. On a side note, my wallet is gone along with $200 and 6+ different IDs/cards I'm going to have to replace. Not worth it.

EDIT: And ten minutes later while tidying up my room I found my wallet. This is awesome.

The start of a new kickball season is awesome. Tomorrow will suck, though.

    Sweet relief!

I wanted to get drunk tonight. Got a nice 6 pack and a couple bottle of red, met some friends for dinner. Didn't quite work out the way I wanted, but I missed coming to this thread.

I was pretty sure there was a reason I disliked Spanish reds while in Spain. I prefer my alcohol more direct and less cloying. But if it's the roommate's and I'm still too young to legally buy my own, it works.

Twenty is too young to be drinking to forget.
