I'm presently watching the recent Netflix addition of Fritz Lang's Metropolis as scored by Giorgio Moroder.
It's so wrong, but so good.
Red, White, And Blue. I'm not linking to any trailers or reviews because I think you should go in as cold as possible, but in the interests of disclosure I will affirm up front that at specific moments it is hard to watch on a scale that teeters between Blue Valentine and Irreversible.

Anyone else here about this? It's setting a new precedent, where netflix is basically funding a show on its own. Next thing you know, they could be doing their own original programming, or rescucitating other cancelled shows.
Welcome to 9 months ago. Netflix has made a number of high profile deals for original programming, of which the Arrested Development revival is only the most recent. They won a bidding war with HBO for a new series from David Fincher a while back and they seem to have quite a few irons in the fire at this point.
YellowBrickRoad about a haunted New Hampshire hiking trail. Pretty good, fell apart abit at the end but good. Lunopolis a sci-if Lake Mungo documentary kind of movie. Where Lake Mungo piles on the creepy Lunopolis piles on the crazy.
Would it be wrong to recommend that people watch Terriers in this thread? If not, I would so recommend.
Yeesh, you weren't kidding. At first, I was sort of charmed by the fact that it was trying to include as many conspiracy theories as possible in the first 30-45 minutes, but then it just sorta devolved intoSpoiler: Spoiler
It was still sorta fun, but that's only because I really enjoy bad movies.
Season 2 of The League is available for Instant Streaming.
I noticed they took off almost all the animated Justice League and Batman movies. Gone are Mask of the Phantasm, New Frontier, etc.
Netflix streaming as a service is kind of hit or miss, isn't it?
Sons of Anarchy Season 3 is up now, not sure how long it has been there.
I'm going through Breaking Bad and it gets better and better as the seasons go on. Does it peter out at some point or is it good up until the end?
Breaking Bad certainly does not peter out....
Yeah, the wife and I only just started Breaking Bad this year and went through all of the available episodes in short order. Easily one of my favorite shows currently on television. Along with Justified, Mad Men and maybe American Horror Story.
Same here. Just started watching it a couple weeks ago and already into season 3. I can't believe how long I had such greatness just sitting there on my Netflix Instant queue... It was like discovering Firefly for the first time.
I'm currently a disk-only Netflix subscriber. Is there any way to view what content is available on streaming? I can't find it if so, and if not then that's incredibly stupid.
There might not be a way to do it on Netflix's site but if you check out instantwatcher.com you'll be presented with a much more robust search engine of Netflix's streaming catalog.
Tucker and Dale vs Evil is now on streaming. No more excuses, you lot!
You should have mentioned Cherie (sharee? Sherri?) from 30 Rock is in it. Although oddly while she's roughly a 14 on 30 Rock she's only a 9/10 with movie lighting. My theory is that she's so ridiculously hot that no additional amount of lighting can do her harm.
Edit: Nevermind, she just stripped down. Back to 14.
H.
Watched this Tucker and Dale thing last night. Awesome! I kept waiting for Alan Tudyk to get impaled, because he specializes in that.
Also, naked boobies in the background, but never prominent. What was up with that? And no one ever had sex and then died horribly (is that a spoiler?) because no one ever had sex. Don't they know how these movies work?
