Hey, that's got Tom's big kissing scene with... uh... Was it Vicki Lewis?
I haven't seen that show in quite some time.
I don't think News Radio is new, although it may have been off streaming for a while.

The animation is horrible and the pacing was glacial, but there were some really fun stories by writers like Larry Niven (introducing the Kzinti to the Trek universe!).
According to my RSS feed, they added nearly 300 things today.
Also, has anyone used instantwatcher.com? It looks pretty cool!
WTF! Did the Bond movies go away already?
Once Upon A Time In The West. Yay!
Not in HD. Boo!
I've been liking the Star Trek animated series for no other reason than it provides new (new to me!) stories of the original series era. And each episode is 20-odd minutes so it's not a huge time commitment.
I started watching DS9 from the very beginning. I watched it sporadically back in the day but had never seen many of the early ones.
Same here, like it was said, the pacing can be a bit glacial, I think they were trying to stretch their limited animation budget, so they linger too long on repeated enterprise flybys and liberally re-use frames. There is this hilarious overhead shot they abuse, you can tell it was meant to be shown when the ship was under attack or something, as all the characters are bracing themselves against the consoles, but they use it for generic overhead shots as wel.
But the voices are the same as the live action one, and the writers are as well. So it's got a great nostalgic but also new factor for someone like me who hasn't seen it.
All that, plus it's the first time you see the Vulcan version of a teddy bear!
If you haven't seen The Walking Dead yet, it's now available for Instant Streaming.
Yeah, totally not available.
K, instantwatcher.com kinda sucks. I put DS9 at the top of my queue on Saturday, and it still doesn't see it, rather it sees TNG (which is #2 on my queue...ha ha) as #1. It also won't let me remove TV shows from the queue, such as the boring That Mitchell and Webb Look, which we tried and just felt flat about. Not really useful, sadly. Glad I didn't pay for a premium membership.
Prepare to be disappointed.
The first season of Luther apparently sucked in the ratings. As a result, the Beeb didn't commission a new season. Instead, they made two two-hour television movies that were split into two. Hence, "four" new episodes. God only knows what happens next.
Meanwhile, the actress who plays Alice is having all sorts of bad luck. She was cast to play the heroine in Disney's big budget Lone Ranger movie (the one with Johnny Depp as Tonto). The one that was cancelled weeks before it was supposed to shoot, due to insane budget along with Cowboys & Aliens tanking like an M-1 tank being dumped off a ship in the middle of the Pacific. Word is that the producers are trying to salvage it, still, by trimming the movie (and hence the budget).
The Walking Dead that's available is a 1995 Vietnam movie directed by Preston A. Whitmore II (writer of Fled), unfortunately. You got my hopes up there for a second.

Apparently the TV show was up briefly on streaming, but it mysteriously disappeared.
Ah I see. Thanks Brad. Wouldn't it be horrible if all Netflix could do going forward was get micro-rights for streaming? "Yes, we were able to get the later seasons of Dexter, but Showtime will only let us have them next Wednesday from 3:35pm to 5:06. Enjoy!"
I love the concept of Instant but it's still so fucking frustrating. I was okay with that when it was still an "extra" part of my monthly deal, but now that I'm going to pay separately for it, the constant re-calibration of quality--whether the fault of my home network, my internet provider, or Netflix--is driving me up the wall, and that combined with the weird issues of rights and what is available when is really starting to sour me.
They made this move way too early. Meh, sorry about going off like that.

"This deal is getting worse all the time."
In all likelihood The Walking Dead is still coming, and someone accidentally set it to active on the back end before they were supposed to.
Heh, well I have an RSS feed to see what's new in Netflix streaming, so I don't need another site for that.
Netflix does have a deal with AMC, so The Walking Dead will likely show up. Someone at Netflix probably just jumped the gun a little. It'll probably show up again closer to the Season 2 premiere on the 16th... so probably next week.
The new Tron was up.
That was a waste of my time.
