You're not fooling anybody when you cry and moan about how there aren't any threads about what you want to talk about. It's just as much work to make the crying and moaning post as it is to start the thread you want. Nobody's buying the martyr act.
A good example of how to discuss things you want to discuss is Bob Cherub's contributions to the P&R Youtube thread. Granted, no one's listening to him, but that can't really be helped. If you want to make sure that issues that concern you are addressed, start a thread! Another good guide would be the way that Brian Rucker maintains a couple of threads devoted to his hot-button issues and will occasionally post a relevant news item.
I suppose there's one other possibility. Maybe Tom took away your ability to start new threads after that fateful night that you decided to combine a whole bottle of Jameson's and a few hours on Qt3. If that's the case, just PM me with the thread idea and I'll start it for you, no matter how little interest I have in it. I'm always here to help.
