Persona 4

So now that Doublejump is accepting preorders with free shipping, I figured it was a good time to start a thread for this game. I thought someone had already, but search reveals nothing. So...

Persona 4 intro. Looks and sounds like a direct heir to P3, which is good news. Ships in December, right in the midst of a lot of other good, more current games, so it probably won't be all that big a deal.

RPG nerds unite! Where's pfreak? Anyway, I'm looking forward to the game, but I probably won't get to really play it until summer, unless I choose to ignore the tons of games in my Gamefly queue (this is an insta-buy). I think a lot of people will do the same. For example, Persona 3 was talked about well into the year following its release by some dudes on podcasts.

I still need to finish Persona 3... Disgaea 3 kind of came in and sucked up all my RPG time. I've almost made it to the Land of Carnage on that (which is way farther than I've ever come on a Disgaea game) but maybe it's time to shelve it for a while to finish up P3:FES.

I tried both, including such cunning variations as Persona and Persona 4. Oh well. The point is the Dj is making a guide, and I'm excited about this thing, so fuck it.

I'm pretty psyched about Persona 4. If you're a crazy man, you can get some sort of fan pack from amazon for like 30 bucks.

I saw that. Seemed pretty ridiculous to me, but I guess it's good that for once something like that is coming from a vendor like amazon vs. some sketchy importer.

It's sad that for $30 I'm tempted to get that. Not only do I need to finish Persona 3 at some point, I still need to buy the FES edition.
