    Thailand

Wife is going to Thailand to help Elephants paint for fashion deisgners.

    Seriously.

Anyone have any ideas on anything cool she shouldnt miss? she will be in jungley stuff about an hour and a half north of Bangkok, but will likely foray into Bangkok a bit.

Take a credit card. You're not alive until you've been a victim of card skimming.

    I was born in Bangkok.

Sadly, I haven't been there since I was about 2 weeks old, so I can't offer much insight.

    But I was born there!

She should go up to that place they have where the elephants paint. I hear it's pretty cool.

    Oh wait.

Does this mean you'll be gorging on Xbox Live titles while she's gone? I forsee some Frontlines and GTA IV in your future.

Yes, yes it does. I've been missing out lately, big time. I havent even done all the modes in gta 4 multi, I just unlocke dthe 3rd island yesterday, etc... the house has killed my gametime. I'll miss my wife and all, we are not usually apart for more than a few days ever, and those instances are rare... but I have a helluva backlog.

Saaayy.. costco sells scotch! I think I need some days off while she's mixing paint for Proboscidea.

Oh yeah. I believe that this is a couple hours from Bangkok, but if she's willing to make the trip, she can go pet a tiger.

We're fairly animal friendly folks, and the crowd she's with are VERY animal friendly (the elephants are more or less retired working elephants paying for their own room, board and care in their old age by painting) http://www.elephantart.com/
