    Burn Notice is finally back.

the've been re-running season one for a while now, and I'd forgotten just how entertaining this show is. I gotta hand it to USA, first Monk then Psych now Burn Notice, they really are making great TV. It's nice to see a network doing something better than all those CSI clones and reality crap.

I find it funny that USA, which used to court controversy back in the 90s with shows like Silk Stalkings and La Femme Nikita, these days seems to be focusing on what is fairly tame, almost family friendly, shows like these. Yeah, someone dies in every episode of Monk or Psych, but it's pretty rare that anyone dies after the opening credits and on Psych the death is usually treated as comedic fodder. Over on Burn Notice, our hero usually manages to solve problems without much more than a few broken bones.

Can't wait 'til the new seasons start for all three shows, though! Thank God James Roday finally found a decent show. Also, thank God this show required he get rid of the abominable haircut he wore for Miss Match.

I just rewatched the episode that aired a couple of nights ago or whatever. I love this show. However, people do die on the show. Make no mistake.

(((******SPOILER!!!!*****)) In the episode I just watched, a crime lord is bombed to death. It's nasty, but certainly our hero tries to avoid it.

Yes people die, but they go out of their way to avoid it - in the season finale last year Fiona had a sniper rifle and managed to only wound people with it.

True, and it sets a good precedent, making the characters more likeable. Fiona in particular should NOT be easy to like, but she is. This show is just brilliant. I can't wait for July.

They've also got a new show coming up soon here with the cute blonde from West Wing. "In Plain Sight", I think it's called.

I thought Kristen Chenowith already had a show.

Or do you mean Janel Moloney?

(Yes, I know who you mean. Still, West Wing had a lotta cute blondes!)

(I ain't counting Emily Proctor, who got friggin' harsh looking.)

In Plain Sight actually uses Mary McCormick, who is indeed quite hot.
