    Super Nintendo Controller with Wii?

    Hey, kids, quick question: can you use an old-school SNES controller with the Wii? I don't have one, but a friend of mine just downloaded Super Mario 3 on hers and it says you need the classic controller, which I thought was something they sold separately like this.

    No, there's no plug for the SNES controller. You can use a Gamecube or Wavebird controller though, if you have one.

    Nintendo Club members in Japan get a classic controller that looks like a SNES controller
