    The quietest 8800GT

I'm thinking video card replacement and I dislike noise. I've pretty much settled on the 8800GT but before I pick a brand I'd like to figure out which ones make the least noise.

    Any tips?

There's a Sparkle branded one with large heat pipes and passive cooling. That would have to be the quietest, but I don't know if it's available and how reasonable that solution is otherwise. (My BFG runs @ ~90C with fans going full throttle on graphically intense games; that's a lot of thermal dissipation for a heat pipe system so I'm guessing that the pipes are going to be monstrous. The card itself is pretty long, if the heat pipes are big it could make fitting it a bit of a problem.)

I'm waiting for the new G92 based 8800GTS, personally, which will have a tilted dual slot cooler which should be more quiet than the default one for the 8800GT (well, maybe, we'll see when it comes out). TechReport says it'll be out Dec. 11th, for $269, and 512MB. Hopefully the supply will be a lot better than the 8800GT launch, because it should be outperforming the 8800GTX by a large margin and almost up to Ultra speeds. The fact that they aren't renaming it is pissing me off to no end, though.
