I'd like an all Melt Banana content pack. I would never stop playing that. Until my wife left me and my neighbors killed me.
Yeah, in "honor" of the My Chemical Emo pack just released here's what I'd offer.
Rush Pack - 300 points
Working Man
Tom Sawyer
2112
Red Barchetta
Spirit of Radio
That's right, 5 songs for 300 points. I'm givin' it away here! Add your own! (AC/DC, Zep, Hendrix, Stevie Ray etc.... coming soon.)

Get Yr Britpop Guitar Hero - 300 points
Echo & The Bunnymen (feat. Will Sergeant on guitar)
"Do It Clean"
"The Cutter"
"Killing Moon"
The Smiths (feat. Johnny Marr)
"The Queen Is Dead"
"How Soon Is Now"
"Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before"
Suede & Bernard Butler (feat. Bernard Butler)
"Metal Mickey"
"The Drowners"
"You Just Know" (which might be the awesomest guitar song in the entire "britpop" canon)
9 songs for 300pts! Now we're talking value!
(I am human and I need to be loved........)
If they put some Pink Floyd together, I'd buy whatever combination of consoles and versions of the game necessary in a heartbeat. Same probably goes for Tool, The White Stripes, and probably the Smashing Pumpkins.
I want the entirety of 'hell-o' by GWAR but I wont hold my breath.
They're obviously too fucking greedy to change the price point.
That said, the ONLY thing I'd pay 500 points for would be three Metallica songs.
Good ones.
MENTORS! and not a queer!!!!
Heh, I'm sort of glad I resisted the urge to pick up GH2 on the 360 now. I'll just skip straight to Rock Band!
It's not like you have to buy these extras. If you have no other Guitar Hero, and you own an Xbox 360, buying GH2 for the Xbox 360 is absolutely a great idea.Originally Posted by Lum

EA shouldn't have anything to do with DLC pricing for Rock Band. They are helping with retail distribution.
I want a Slayer release pack:
Seasons in the Abyss
Raining Blood
Born of Fire
War Ensemble
Angel of Death
Kid Bopz
I don't know much about late 1950s/early 1960s rock and roll, but I'd love to see a pack with stuff like Johnny B. Goode, Rock Around the Clock, a Buddy Holly hit, La Bamba, Great Balls of Fire (although it's piano heavy), a couple of guitar-heavy Elvis hits...basically anything between 1951 and 1963.
Hell, it would make a great encore expansion, there's so much to work with.

Boston.
Mostly because the lack of "More than a Feeling" is the only reason I haven't already bought GH for the Xbox 360 and pawned off my PS2 versions.
But also because if "Long Time" and "Smokin'" and "Peace of Mind" and "Rock & Roll Band" ended up being half as fun as "More than a Feeling" then I'd spontaneously combust from sheer rapture. And that would be cool.
Built to Spill
It barely even matters which songs you choose. In particular, I think "Out of Sight", "Time Trap", and maybe "Mess With Time" off their new album or "Distopian Dream Girl" off There's Nothing Wrong With Love.
They seem like a natural fit to me.
If I could pick a single song to play, though, it would be "Working Man" by Rush. That would be the most fun solo ever.
I love Melt Banana, but that would be a little too weird for Guitar Hero.Originally Posted by quatoria
